Our Yoga Teacher Certification is based on on the principles of Yoga and Samkhya. It weaves in essential elements of theoretical study, practical application, and self-reflection.
Guided by the teachings of Sri T Krishnamacharya and Sri TKV Desikachar, the curriculum is designed to help learners achieve the following goals.
- functional knowledge of the practices of Asana, Pranayama and Meditation and how to appropriately apply these tools for healthy adults and children
- develop ability to teach group classes and general (non-therapeutic) individual sessions in a safe, effective and confident manner with on-going mentorship beyond the training
- earn a certificate recognizing them as a Certified Yoga Instructor allowing them to apply for RYT-200 certificate with Yoga Alliance

Certification:
At the end of 250 hours of training, the student is eligible to take the Yoga Teacher Examination at Yogavahini and earn the certificate upon clearing the exam.
